Your body is a changing, sensitive, and beautiful vessel that needs warmth, care, and compassion.
It desires to be seen, heard, and understood.
YOU deserve to be seen, heard, and understood.
To be guided with a combination of methods that gets down to the core of the issue and allows you to heal.
If you often feel like you are falling through the cracks of the healthcare system and desire to find a more informed, intuitive, and holistic approach to healing, I am here to help.
What I do that makes this practice unique
I help reset the nervous system to feel safe and secure
I utilize body work
I teach mind-body education
I appreciate the need for other types of treatments and make recommendations based on what we discover in our sessions.
I teach how to navigate our healthcare system in a way that serves you best.
I teach movements that support the changes we make in our sessions
By combining traditional and non-traditional practices, I am able to treat the whole body and all of its systems rather than just one part.
Your care will always be with Dr. Bernal, a board-certified physical therapist who's mission is to tailor each session to the patient's needs. Learn more about Dr. Bernal here.

Everyone's health needs are different and are rarely cut and dry. Chronic pain and other chronic conditions further add to this complexity. A foundation of understanding our bodies and our healthcare system can help with this. Click here to learn more.
Too often our healthcare focuses on what the patient did rather than what happened. Shifting the focus to all aspects and holding space to explore that leads to a much more inclusive and well-rounded approach. I guide from experience and empathy, not a weekend course.
I recognize that many people have had unpleasant experiences in the healthcare system, and have suffered trauma from this. I strive to ensure my patients feel safe, heard, and understood (regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, sexuality, ability, or other intersectional identities) when working with me.
I chose to name my practice Prism because our health is comprised of many aspects, much like light is comprised of many colors. When we shine a light through a prism, we can see all the visible colors on the light spectrum. My approach does this with a person's health, I assess in a way that reveals all the aspects of a person's health that needs help. With this information, we can move forward in an informed and compassionate way.
